I've recorded a short video (15-20 mins) about the last topic we needed to cover in class. This video is hosted on my personal youtube channel. I'm going a little stir crazy and have to go outside a walk/run while social distancing myself from everyone else. If appears from my end that Wake County is working diligently to come up with an equitable learning plan for everyone. Me personally - I'm entirely set up now to screencast and post class lessons as well as doing lots of cool online learning myself (I'm working toward becoming a Level 2 Google Certified Instructor). 3/18 UPDATE: Chem students - please continue to complete your chemical reactions packet. Get as much practice writing chemical equations as you can. If you are stuck trying to write a chemical formula for a chemical name, go ahead and google it for help. 3/16, 3/17 TedTalk synopsis. Click here to see a short list of TedTalk videos dealing with Chemistry. After watching analyze the video and record your thoughts on this form. When complete choose another TedTalk - this time from any discipline/topic that is interesting to you and do the same analysis/synopsis. Turn in at end of class. 3/12, 3/13 Complete the 13 questions from assignment 5. Write out assignment 5 on a seperate sheet of paper and submit for grades. Use textbooks and reference tables to help. 3/10, 3/11 Using your phones or a computer, watch either video: Khan , Maribel. Then click this link to play a game. Solve all 3 levels. Screenshot progress screen when done. Complete Assignment 4 in class. We did several in class. If not finished, do remaining problems for homework. |
